  i have been visiting this site for almost a year, and i have found it very useful.

  there was a post on a facebook group last night about jw visits and to be nice when they call at your door.

  so, after about 100 posts, i posted a link to this website.

  When my Elder ex-husband was doing one of his usual yelling, cussing rants, I would quickly shut the doors and windows. I didn't want him to stumble the neighbors, that we witnessed to.

  since the majority would be "left behind", i wonder.

  clearly the hard workers who neglected "spiritual things" to persue a career in the science field or just working with the hands will be of the many left.

  what would this world be like if all fundies just dissappeared.

  Oh, Rapture...I was a teenager, pioneering. I was sitting in on someone's Bible study. The Study started talking about "The Rapture". I was a born in. I had never heard that saying. I was embarrassed. I thought she was talking about sex.

  it's a keeper and shows how fanatical they can get:.

  on my way to work in our city's downtown area i regularly see a pioneer walking up and down the street, holding up his magazines.

  Para #12...Use good sense. If an offer appears too good to be true, it often is.

  ----->How many thousands of years have people lived and have died? All in The Watch Tower Society who were spewing out, "Millions Now Living, Will Never Die", are all...dead. Surprised? You shouldn't be. That is what happens to human beings.

  Newly Enlightened, Thank you for sharing your story. Sounds like you have put up with many decades of thoughtless abuse from those we were suppose to die for. So sorry to hear of your health problems. It is good you were able to move to an area with clean air. So happy to hear you are out with your family. Best wishes.

  Silly things I wondered as a kid

  if god is like a loving father why did he set up a way for adam and eve to possibly fail by putting the "magic tree" in the garden?

  if my dad sabotaged his kids this way or felt the need to test our love him he'd be considered an abusive father.. when god put an angel with a spinning sword in front of the entrance to the garden why didn't a&e walk a few miles down from there and climb over the wall ?

  was there a wall ?.

  When I was a small child, and God and so many good and bad angels are in the sky watching us, I was embarrassed, to go to the bathroom. Then I wondered where do they go, when they have to go. My mom said they didn't. I found that very strange.

  Friends are studying with the JW's

  i was studying spanish a little while ago - had to stop because of finances but became friends with the spanish teacher and we keep in touch, see each other now and again.

  i just got a message from him:.

  "hola louise, i would like to talk to you about 2 things, about the jws, as we are following this fatih, we find it interesting, we haven't been baptised yet, i want to make sure before making a mistake and the other thing that allan and i wold like to talk about is starting your own business.....".
